Role: Senior software Engineer/Component Lead

Responsibilities:

·               Designed and developed the Layer 3 (NAS) functionality from scratch for Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) variants of protocol stack for 2G, 3G & LTE

·               Design and implementation of PS features like PLMN search and selection, DVP and other proprietary and custom features for Intel Modems.

·               Analyzing protocol and system level issues from carriers, IOTs, Field, GCF conformance tests.

·               Triage and logs analysis of the issues from leading operators including AT&T, T-mobile, Vodafone, Hutchison, KTF, and Swisscom etc.

·               As Component Lead, Co-ordinated between project management, customer support engineers and test engineers and set priority of tasks and to distribute among the team.

Telecom Adaptation layer/Radio Interface Layer (RIL) for Symbian S40/S60 Modem API

Responsibilities:

·               Designed and developed the RIL Layer between Symbian S40/S60 software and protocol software stack for TDSCDMA phones

·               Single-handedly ported the Nokia Modem API’s on top of TD-SCDMA chipset 6718 for Chinese market in record time, which resulted in successful demo of the phone.

·               Involved in modem CoreSW project catering to proprietary NXP RTOS (RTKE), power, boot, memory management, storage, logging etc

Protocol Stack Development for MXC300-30 Platforms

Role: Senior software Engineer

Responsibilities:

·               Designed and implemented functionality to set up voice calls, SMS, PDP activations and FTP data transfers.

·               Analysis, debugging, fixing of issues from Conformance, IOTs, Field Testing, and KPIs in UMTS/GSM protocols to deliver the first platform with a 3G single core modem.

·               Debugging and Bug fixing reported issues to improved performance in L2/L3/L4 Protocol Stack.

·               Responsible for NAS feature enhancements and debugging the Freescale platforms, support Protocol Validation, Field Testing and IOT.
